CORONA— Six Geffen Academy at UCLA golfers hit the links at Green River Golf Club on Monday to compete in the CIF Southern Section Division 5 Team Championships in Corona.

It was the fourth time in five years that the Bruins have made it to the CIF-SS Championship Final. Bruins in action included Christian C., Brody H., Nathan L., Alexandra B., Willie L., and Harry K.

As a team, Geffen Academy recorded 460, a three-shot improvement from the Bruins’ 2025 effort (463) at Sterling Hills Golf Club in Camarillo.

“We’re proud of the way this group competed all season, and this final round really reflected the character of our team,” head coach Michael Padilla said. “It was a strong way to close the season and a foundation we’re excited to build on moving forward.”
