WESTWOOD- The Geffen Academy middle school girls basketball team earned its second win in as many games on Tuesday, taking down visiting Brentwood, 30-9, at UCLA SAC Gym. The victory came on the heels of a road win on Monday, in which the Bruins toppled Windward, 29-13.

Skylar W. ’31 led the team with 18 points on Tuesday, converting both of her shots at the free throw line.

“Our Brentwood win was led by our team rebounding and defensive pressure,” head coach Emily Guerena said. “It was awesome to get back to back victories coming off of the holiday break.”

Geffen Academy returns to action on Thursday, January 15 when the Bruins visit Calvary Christian School for a 4:30pm tipoff.
