Boys & Girls Volleyball Program Director: 2018 – current

Coach Vellutato is the Head Varsity Volleyball Coach for both the Girls Program in the Fall and the Boys Program in the Spring. As the Volleyball Program Director, she oversees all volleyball operations for the school. Coach Vellutato led the Girls’ Program to the CIF-SS Final in 2023 and secured a League Championship in 2024. She graduated from UCLA in 1980, where she swam for the University and also competed on the water polo team. While completing her undergrad and post-grad studies, Coach Vellutato also played beach volleyball and was an All-American for indoor volleyball (USAV). Before becoming Geffen Academy’s Volleyball Program Director, she coached at Marlborough School. Coach Vellutato is a current coach with Sunshine Volleyball Club and also coaches with the USA Maccabi Games team.
