JV Boys Basketball Earns First Victory Over Bridges Academy
STUDIO CITY- The Geffen Academy JV boys basketball team snagged its first win of the season, Tuesday, corralling Bridges Academy, 67-42, on the road.
“We had great offensive rebounding,” head coach Fred Jackson said following the win. “On the offensive side we spread things out well and I was really impressed with our effort. ”
The Bruins were led offensively by Sebastian M. ’29, who finished the contest with 17 points. Nelsun L. ’29 added 13 points, Drew C. ’28 netted 12 and Daniel H. ’28 tallied 10.
Geffen Academy returns to action this Thursday when the boys varsity team takes on New Roads at 4:30pm at Santa Monica’s Memorial Park Gym.
