Geffen Academy Sweeps Homecoming Contests
WESTWOOD- Geffen Academy’s soccer and basketball teams completed a clean sweep of visiting Wildwood on Friday evening, taking down the Wolves in four separate contests at the UCLA main campus.
The victories, which capped off a week of Homecoming festivities for the Bruins, came in varsity boys and girls soccer, as well as boys and girls basketball.
On a foggy night, well over one hundred fans cheered on the Geffen Academy soccer teams at UCLA’s Drake Stadium, with the Bruin boys winning their tilt, 4-0. The Bruin girls took down Wildwood, 3-0.
Fans also packed UCLA SAC Gym, where the Geffen Academy girls won their contest, 32-10, while the boys earned a 69-39 victory in the nightcap.
